Deliziosa’s Scamorza Affumicato
Smoked cheese with pear-like shape due to the process of “strangling”. Scamorza Affumicata is an Italian cow’s milk cheese and has better taste because of its smoky flavour. It has excellent baking qualities. Mozzarella can substitute Scamorza in most dishes however the resulting taste of the cheese will be much stronger and more dominant.
Flavour baked dishes. Toppings with prosciutto .
Pairs well with Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio.
Best eaten fresh. Consume on the day of purchase. If not, refrigerate at all times and consume within the next 2-3 days.
