Soft stringy cheese originally made in Puglia (a region of south-eastern Italy) from cow’s milk using a stretching (pasta filata) and shredding technique.
Melt on burgers, pizzas. Serve with roasted bell peppers, grilled vegetables and balsamic vinegar, toasted garlic bread & olive oil.
Best eaten fresh. Consume on the day of purchase. If not, refrigerate at all times and consume within the next 2-3 days.
